On the 10th, a signing ceremony for an official partner agreement between Hinode Medical Welfare Group (hereinafter referred to as “Hinode Medical Welfare Group”), a social welfare collaboration promotion corporation, and VICTAS Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “VICTAS”) was held at Kobe Tokiwa University.
Collaborate to support business groups and promote social contribution
With the signing of this official partner agreement, we will begin a collaboration to develop the local community by combining the fields of medicine and welfare with table tennis.
Specifically, in addition to providing support such as providing official wear to corporate table tennis teams and providing instruction and support on table tennis techniques to facility users, the agreement includes the expansion of table tennis equipment at Kobe Tokiwa University, a comprehensive partner, the use of table tennis equipment for local events, and cooperation in table tennis academy projects.

Hinode Medical Group is a business team table tennis team that has placed 3rd in the All Japan Business Team Championship for the second consecutive year. In the future, in addition to improving competitiveness with technology and equipment support from VICTAS, we will also work on expanding the “table tennis therapy” that is used in welfare settings, with the aim of building evidence for health promotion and nursing care prevention for the elderly.

The signing ceremony held on the 10th was witnessed by Mr. Koji Matsushita, President and Representative Director of VICTAS, Mr. Takufumi Onishi, Representative Director of Hinode Medical and Welfare Group, Mr. Norio Takashima, director of the corporate team, and Mr. Tatsuya Kudo, Director of Social Cooperation Division, Corporate Headquarters, Tamada Gakuen Educational Corporation (Kobe Tokiwa University).

Mr. Koji Matsushita (VICTAS Co., Ltd.)
Our company’s purpose is to help everyone involved in table tennis lead a bright and energetic life. I felt that we were in the same direction as the Hinode Medical Welfare Group, which aims to contribute to the community and develop young people. We hope to take advantage of this agreement with people who have been involved in community-based activities for many years in the fields of nursing care, medical care, welfare, and childcare, and utilize the knowledge that VICTAS has cultivated to contribute to society.

Mr. Houbun Onishi (Social Welfare Collaboration Promotion Corporation Hinode Medical Welfare Group)
I myself love table tennis and have played it for a long time. There is also data showing that table tennis can help maintain cognitive function, improve health, and prevent nursing care, and we believe that creating a place where employees can enjoy playing table tennis on a daily basis will lead to their mental and physical health and prevent nursing care. There is a limit to the power of one person, so I would like to receive everyone’s cooperation to contribute to society and lead to the future of Japan.

Mr. Norio Takashima (Hinode Medical Welfare Group Table Tennis Team Manager)
It has been a year and a half since I became the director of Hinode Medical Welfare Group. I didn’t expect to be the coach at this age, but I accepted the offer because I thought that Representative Onishi was able to start up a team and that there was something I could contribute to. I am humbled by President Matsushita’s decision to launch the T League. As a team, we have yet to win a national tournament.
I haven’t been able to do that yet, so I would like to somehow win the championship at the All Japan Business Team Table Tennis Championships to be held in Miyazaki.

Today, I am very honored to be able to witness the signing of an official partner agreement between VICTAS Co., Ltd. and Hinode Medical Welfare Group. We are confident that by bringing together the strengths of both parties, new value will be created and this will lead to the development of the table tennis world. I believe that today’s signing is not a goal, but the start of a new serve. We will cooperate with this collaboration based on our mission of research, education, and community contribution.
